Ramesh Gupta Foundation is a voluntary organisation, based in Balasore, Odisha, India. The organisation was conceived as an effort of a few socially sensitive people who came from different backgrounds, charged with the vision of working with the vulnerable sections of the society and addressing issues giving rise to such vulnerabilities. In this context, persons with disabilities, children and women became the core focus areas of the organisation. RG Foundation has been working extensively in the State covering the rural and tribal population at one end and professionals, administrative agencies, Govt. officials and legislators at the other end. Since disability has been the major focus right from its inception, RG Foundation has concentrated its energies and resources on the empowerment of persons with disabilities, facilitating them to become self-sufficient and realise their hidden potential. RG Foundation is today recognized as one of the front-ranking NGOs of Odisha working in the field of disability and inclusion. Though RG Foundation provides necessary services and aids to people with disability the broader focus is the inclusion of people with disability in every aspect of development and facilitating their role as valuable contributors. Adopting the inclusive approach, today the organisation has a deep-rooted understanding and experience in Community Based Rehabilitation, with a special focus on women empowerment, child rights, and promoting and strengthening People’s Organisations. Thanks to our sincerity, accomplishment and experience, RG Foundation has been consistently approached by different agencies for partnership, alliance, orientation and training.
